Nobody actually wants to read these things, but honestly? We're pretty straightforward about how we handle your info. We're architects, not data miners. Your information stays with us and helps us do our job better - that's it.
When you reach out or work with us, we'll need some basic stuff:
We're not tracking your browsing habits or selling your data to advertisers. That's just not our scene.
Everything we collect has a purpose:
We don't just hand out your info, but sometimes we gotta share it with:
Everyone we work with signs confidentiality agreements. We're pretty serious about keeping client projects under wraps until you're ready to show them off.
Our website uses some basic cookies to remember your preferences and make sure everything works smoothly. We're not doing anything fancy - just keeping the lights on and making sure contact forms actually send. You can disable cookies in your browser if that's your thing, though some features might get wonky.
Under Canadian privacy laws, you can:
We take security seriously - encrypted communications, secure cloud storage, locked file cabinets for physical documents, the works. Our team's trained on privacy practices, and we limit access to only folks who actually need it for your project. That said, nothing's 100% foolproof online, but we're doing everything industry-standard and then some.
Architecture projects have long tails. We're legally required to keep project documentation for at least 10 years after completion (sometimes longer depending on the building type). After that, we review and securely dispose of what we don't need. Some stuff we might keep longer with your permission - like project photos for our portfolio or case studies.
We love showing off our work, but we'll always ask permission before featuring your project in our portfolio, on social media, or in publications. You can say no, or request specific photos/details be kept private. Some clients want maximum exposure, others prefer to stay completely anonymous - we respect both.
Sometimes we link to other sites - manufacturer specs, sustainability resources, that kind of thing. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply. We can't control what they do, so check their policies if you're concerned.
We might update this occasionally as laws change or we adopt new tools. We'll post the updated version here with a new date at the top. For major changes affecting active projects, we'll reach out directly.
Seriously, if anything here doesn't make sense or you wanna know more about how we handle your specific situation, just give us a shout. We'd rather have a quick conversation than have you worrying about this stuff.
